Halla Bjorgvinsdottir is the Global General Counsel & VP Corporate Governance at Embla Medical hf. Her past positions include Deputy General Counsel Legal Strategy and Innovation and Division Counsel Diversified Food and Health EMEA at JBT Marel, Senior Legal Counsel at Marel hf., Attorney at Law at MP banki (now Kvika bank), Associate at LOGOS law firm and Project Manager at Iceland Travel. Halla holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Law, she is a licensed Attorney in Iceland and is a member of the Icelandic Bar Association. She has completed a certification exam in securities trading in Iceland.

Halla currently serves on the Board of the Nordic Arbitration Centre.
